The satisfaction of knowing that a job is well done.  When the client is happy then we are happy.

People
Lisa Claber Consultancy is run by Lisa Claber who started her business life in London in the late 1970's.  With thwarted ambitions to become a pilot, she turned her sights to her next talent, writing, and joined several small companies in Twickenham and Kensington before settling at Public Relations Counsel (PRC) Ltd in Campden Hill Road, London W8.  For two years, Lisa worked with Jonquil Simons, Josie Matthews and the late Angela Farnell and John St John Stevens on a variety of clients, including Bayer UK, Wellcome Foundation, the Wellcome Trust, Wyeth Laboratories, Jeyes Hygiene and others.  Here she learnt the ropes of a succesful pr business and soon became account executive.

In early 1984, Lisa Claber moved to Kestrel Communications Ltd in Wimbledon and stayed at this, also successful, pr and marketing agency for many years.  Clients she worked for included Initial plc and its subsidiaries, BET plc, McCarthy & Stone (Southern), Metlex Industries (bathroom accessories manufacturer), David Wilson Homes, British Red Cross, Tidy Britain Group. At Kestrel, she was instrumental in the devising of the Loo of the Year Awards, a competition which is still around today, twenty years later.

Lisa also enjoyed a twelve month stint in the Goldman Sachs Presentation Department where she supervised the production of take-over documentation.

From London, Lisa moved back to the Midlands where she picked up small business clients including Ingley Construction Ltd, haulage contractor Overdrive, chimney sweep specialists Kleen Sweep, Andy Gilbert Cartoons, cemetery upkeep specliasts Tender Touch as well as undertaking freelance projects for public relations agencies.

Her business experience was expanded even more when she took over the running of a canal-side pub, the Bridge Inn in Branston, for a number of years.  This has taught her the fundamentals of running a business, including how to deal with the hard times.

Lisa Claber is also involved with the Air Training Corps (ATC) and is currently a Pilot Officer in the RAF VR(T) - Voluntary Reserve (Training) section of the RAF.  As well as squadron duties, she is Staffordshire Wing's Deputy Media Communications Officer (MCO) and is building up the reputation of the ATC to be the number one youth organisation in the country. Being part of the ATC has also meant that Lisa has completed an Initial Officers Course at RAF Cranwell and subsequently achieved the Introductory Certificate in Leadership & Management via the Cadet Vocational Qualification Organisation (CVQO).

Throughout the years, Lisa Claber MCIPR has learnt that in addition to her writing skills, she is a good organiser, 'do-er' and communicator.  She has adapted to changing economic climates and fully understands the business environment.

Lisa Claber Consultancy has two office staff and links to a number of services including book-keepers, accountants, advertising, design and print, web design, human resource, training, health & safety specialists - all that is needed to run a successful company.
